Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) Responsibilities & Duties

Evaluate patients' physical abilities, medical history, and conditions to develop a treatment plan
Conduct individualized therapy sessions with patients to help them regain physical abilities and manage pain
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide the best patient care
Educate patients and families on proper exercise techniques and injury prevention strategies
Document patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed
Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards

Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) Qualifications & Skills

Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
Previous clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
Experience with pediatric or geriatric patients
Proficiency in advanced therapeutic techniques
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Bilingual skills
Membership in professional organizations such as the APTA
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
Active state licensure as a Registered Physical Therapist
